In Baptism the Christian community of the parish welcomes a new member. All are welcome to participate in this happy event, particularly the parents, godparents, relatives, neighbours and friends of the person being Baptised.

For parents and their child, this is an important and happy day. It is also a day of celebration for the parish of St Colmcille.

In Baptism you take on an important commitment; you promise to help this child to grow in Christian faith.

Your child is unique and precious in the sight of God.

Baptismal Certificates for children Baptised in St. Colmcille’s Parish may be applied for at the parish office between 9.15am- 12.30pm Monday - Friday and 2pm - 4pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. and collected during the week.
